The Best Online Shopping Hacks

Save money and look good while doing it

I love online shopping. It’s fast, it’s easy, and you can save some serious money through shopping online. I love websites like Amazon, Macy’s, Victoria’s Secret, and Lululemon because they make it so easy to find what I want online. The only downsides to shopping online are not being able to see the product/item in person (or try it on if it’s a clothing item) and paying for shipping and handling.

However, through the years, I have found the best online shopping hacks to be used and I want to share them.

The first thing for online shopping is finding what you want to get. Once you find the website you want to shop on, find the items that you wish to get. I’m going to use Puravida Bracelets for my example.

I added a few bracelets to my cart and when I went to checkout, I used my Honey add-on.

Honey is one of the best online resources out there. It can be added on as an extension on Safari or Google Chrome. Since Google Chrome is my favorite browser to use, I have Honey there and use it almost daily.

Once I am viewing my cart, the Honey extension works so that it totals up everything in my cart and views it like this:

When you click “Apply Coupons,” it automatically searches websites like RetailMeNot, Coupons.com, Offers.com, and SlickDeals for coupon codes that can be applied to your cart like free shipping, 10% off certain items in your cart, and other great deals.

If Honey cannot find anything that can be applied to your order, it will show you this message:

This means you have the very best price available and you don’t have to worry about if you’re saving money or not! This is easily the best way to online shop and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The next thing to think about when shopping online is actually asking for promo codes if Honey doesn’t find anything for you. When dialogue boxes open on websites and ask if you would like to speak to someone, it’s a good idea to ask them outright because they might be able to get you savings that Honey wouldn’t have been able to find for you.

Another good idea for online shopping tricks is to make a shopping email from a free service like Gmail and you can keep it organized by only using that email when websites ask you for an email along with a promo code that is usually a great asset to your purchase.

These are some of the online shopping tips and tricks that I use to make sure that not only am I getting the best deal, but it’s in an organized way that makes it easy to find the next time I want to shop online.

I hope this helps you the next time you’re online shopping! If you have any questions or comments, please contact me! I would love to hear from you.

Thanks so much for reading!

Love,

Kaitlin
