Beauty Brand Love: Marc Jacobs!

I have been a big fan of Marc Jacobs for a few years now. I have been using their Daisy Love perfume every day since 2017 and recently branched out to their cosmetic products! I have been using their Velvet Noir Mascara for about a year now and absolutely love it. Since it was such a good product, I wanted to try some of their other items and see how I liked it. Without further ado, here are all of the products that I have tried from Marc Jacobs Beauty!

Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara

The first MJ Beauty product I tried was their Velvet Noir mascara. I picked it up from Sephora (linked here) for $27. I’ve tried a couple of different mascaras in the past couple of years, but this one is by far my favorite. I have repurchased it four times now when I ran out of the product and plan on continuing to do so for a while! I think that the formula is long-wearing and smudge-proof. I can’t tell you how many times I have accidentally rubbed at my eyes when I yawned and frantically checked to make sure it still looked good–and it did. I’m a big fan of this mascara and have recommended it to everyone who’ll listen!

Velvet Epic Lash Primer

This is actually the first lash primer I ever tried, and only because I got a value set of the mascara/primer duo during the Sephora sale. I never really believed in lash primers until I tried this product out–and my mind was blown. The Velvet Epic Lash Primer is one of my new holy grails. Even though it can be a bit pricey (coming in at $27, the same price as the full mascara), I believe that it is totally worth it. My lashes have been so defined since I started using it in tandem with the Velvet mascara. I highly recommend it!

O!Mega Bronze Perfect Tan Bronzer

I have heard so many good things about this bronzer but never picked it up (probably because of the $49 price tag). During the Sephora sale, I found a perfect value set for trying three of Marc Jacob’s best products. I found this Blurred and Bronzed value set which was originally on sale for $78, but the sale price (before the Rouge discount) was $54.50. The kit was perfect because I was able to snag two full-sized products and one mini for the price of one. I will be repurchasing this bronzer when it runs out, which will take forever for it to do. I think it’s worth the price tag because there is so much product and it will take me such a long time to even hit pan. I’m a big fan of the O!Mega Bronze Perfect Tan Bronzer and you can find it right here!

Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder

This was another full-sized product that was in the Blurred and Bronzed value set. I haven’t used setting powder in my routine in a long time (and when I did, it was the Laura Mercier powder that felt too heavy). I was nervous to try this one just because I haven’t used powder in forever, but this wasn’t a disappointing product. I feel like it locks my foundation into place and I am enjoying it so far. You can find it for $44 right here on Sephora.

Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick

I love a good lipstick, so when I saw this lipstick on sale for $16 (only $12 with the Rouge sale!), I was sold. The shade is 204 Amazing, which is a candy apple red. It’s similar to MAC’s Ruby Woo, but brighter. I’m a big fan of it, even though the staying power isn’t what I’m used to. With a good liner, it’ll last longer than by itself. There are a bunch of colors that are on sale right now, so I recommend checking them out! You can find them right here on Sephora.

Under(cover) Blurring Coconut Face Primer

This was the last product in the Blurred and Bronzed set. It’s a deluxe sample, which is nice. I’m glad I got to try it, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I tried it a few times and didn’t like it as much as my normal primer (the Fenty Beauty Hydration Primer). The Under(Cover) Blurring Coconut Face Primer retails for $39. It felt a little greasy, but the smell and quality were nice! I would recommend trying it out, but maybe try the sample size first?

These are all of the Marc Jacobs Beauty products that I have tried along with what I think about them! Have you tried any of their products? What were your thoughts? Let me know down in the comments. And, as always, thank you so much for reading!

Love,

Kaitlin
