Happy Friday! This month has been going at a much slower pace than the past couple of months. Even though it’s been a longer one than most, there was much to enjoy. I found some new favourites and enjoyed some classics again and again. A lot has happened this month and I’m sure February will be just as eventful. Without further ado, here are my favourite things from January 2021!
Throne of Glass Series
I have spent the majority of the month consuming the Throne of Glass series. I have heard such great things about the books and I am happy to report that I can confirm that this series is wonderful! The series is just so good and the plot twists keep me on the edge of my seat. Sarah J Maas is so talented and I am so excited about reading the series for the first time. I’m sad that I’ll be halfway done with the series soon because it means it’ll be over.
Slip Pillowcase and Sleep Mask
This was my most bougie purchase of probably my entire life. Nordstrom had this exact gift set on sale and I purchased it. I have been throughly enjoying it ever since. My skin has gotten better and my hair is never creased in the mornings. Before this set, I never used a sleep mask. But, I have to tell you, I feel so luxurious in the morning. And it’s so cute! I got my and my best friend matching sleep masks with our star signs on them; I can’t wait to gift hers!
Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb
Over the holidays, I got a mini size of the iconic Flowerbomb perfume as points reward from Sephora. I had heard about it before from different Youtubers, and Anya Taylor-Joy (my favourite actress at the moment!) is the face of the fragrance line. The perfume is so light and floral and beautiful, I’m obsessed with it! Thanks to the Sephora sale going on during July, I was able to pick up a perfume at a steep discount. This is my first eau de parfum, which is the higher end of perfumes. I’m very excited about it!
I’ve also been enjoying classical music, sleeping in as much as possible, New Girl and Friends, and a couple of other things I have blogged about in the past. I would hate for this to become repetitive or anything of that sort, but some of my favourites are in my routine for months on end. Have you tried any new favourites this month? Let me know in the comments! And, as always, thank you for reading!
Love,
Kaitlin
