My Current Shows and Movies!

Hi hello! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! Today I want to blog about all the shows and movies I’m currently watching. I’ve started a couple new shows while rotating some old favourites, along with trying new movie releases when I have downtime. I have a few different streaming platforms (special thank you to my parents and friends for contributing to cause #blessed) that I use regularly: Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, YoutubeTV, and HBO Max. Without further ado, here are my current shows and movies!

Bachelor in Paradise

This season of BIP is the messiest in history. So many of the people on the show are either horrible or “here for the wrong reasons.” I don’t think there’s more than two couples that are genuinely together and I’ll be surprised if anyone ends up engaged at the end of the season. It’s been fun to watch with my roommate whilst shouting at the screen when anyone makes a decision that we disagree with (I’m looking at you Brendan and Pieper). Are you watching this season? Impeachment

I just started this yesterday (literally only watched ten minutes before I had to do something else) but I’m intrigued by the idea. Thanks to my roommate’s YoutubeTV subscription, I’m able to enjoy it! I was surprised that FX didn’t have this show available on Hulu. It’s live tv only. Obviously this was a huge moment in history when everything went down, and it’ll be interesting to see how the show covers the different events and moments in time.

He’s All That

It was a hate-watch. I’m not going to lie to you. I enjoyed parts of it, but the dialogue and writing were contrite and the acting was subpar. I like the idea of a gender-swapped reboot, but it just missed all the marks for me. I know there are some people that enjoyed it, and I’m glad that they did. It’ll be interesting to see if Netflix is going to do any other reboots of popular 90s flicks.

30 Rock

This is a funny sitcom! I haven’t watched it before and now I like having it in the background when I’m completing other tasks. It’s one of those shows that you can watch in any order and be able to understand what is going on with the characters. I’m watching in on Netflix, but I think it’s also available on Hulu.

Superstore

I think this just might be my favourite show of all time. I mean, I’ve never watched a show all the way through three or four times like I have with Superstore. The characters are hilarious, the plot points are original and heart wrenching at times (hi Mateo!), and everything about it is simply *chef’s kiss*. I’m watching it on Hulu, but would definitely purchase it from iTunes if they ever took it off the platform.

Those are all of the shows and movies that I’ve been watching recently! I haven’t been streaming too much simply because I’m so busy with work and reading and content creating. When I do have a moment to myself, I tend to either nap or call loved ones. Maybe with winter coming up, I’ll be more inclined to curl up by the fire and enjoy a new show or two!
