I found out a few things when I moved to Idaho. 1: Snow is beautiful and it’s awesome when it snows. 2: My skin gets dry as hell during the colder months. Thankfully, I own some of the best skincare items for dry skin on the market. It took a bit of time to figure out which products worked best to keep my skin from getting dry, but once I found the right combination I was set! Here are all the products in my winter skincare routine!
Tatcha: The Essence
I picked this up during the Sephora sale in November and gifted it to myself as a birthday present. It’s the first type of “essence” skincare product that I’ve tried and I quite enjoy it. It’s described as a plumping product and it has a refreshing effect on the skin. It’s a one-of-a-kind item and it is linked right here on Sephora.
Drunk Elephant: Protini Polypeptide Moisturiser
This is the very product that saved my skin from the dry weather. This moisturiser is so strong and works so well that I absolutely swear by it. It pairs well with any other Drunk Elephant products, especially the Virgin Marula Facial Oil (featured below!). You can find the moisturiser right here on Sephora.
Skin Owl: The Glow Stick
My friend Annie has an amazing storefront in Boise (her website is right here!) and there is an amazing product from her company that I love: the Glow Stick. It’s a facial roller that helps purify the skin, de-puff, and take care of the lymphs in the skin. I’ve been using it every day for a week and I definitely have noticed a difference. I have linked the Glow Stick right here.
Tatcha: The Deep Cleanse
Everyone needs a good cleanser in their life. I highly recommend the Tatcha Deep Cleanse because it works wonders. It’s so gentle but works so well and will get rid of every single impure thing. I love using it in the shower or right after removing makeup. You can find it right here.
Drunk Elephant: Virgin Marula Facial Oil
This is the first facial oil I have ever tried and I have stuck with it ever since I first tried it. It’s such a great investment because it lasts forever and a little goes a long way. It’s so refreshing for the skin and hydrates in such an effective way. I have linked it right here.
Laneige: Sleeping Lip Mask
Ever since I discovered this product, I have not gone a night without using it. It has been instrumental in keeping my lips from being chapped and I swear by it. It comes in so many different flavours (Gummy Bear and Sweet Candy are must-tries!) and you can find it right here.
These are all of the items in my winter skincare routine! Adjusting to the cold air and the changing of the season has been a bit of a blip for me but I feel as if I know what I’m doing now, thanks to these products. I have a combination skin type, so some of these products might not work with your skin type. Please conduct research before purchasing. And, as always, thank you so much for reading!
