I’ve been rushing around a lot lately. I just spent half of the past week in Turlock, CA for the CCAA Championship Tournament. Since I was traveling for volleyball, I only brought a few makeup products with me that I knew I would use. I’ve used all of these products for a while and swear by them!
Rodan and Fields Radiant Defense SPF 30
Whenever I’m not going all out with my makeup (using foundation), this is my ultimate go-to. Not only is this product amazing for skin after using any regimen from Rodan and Fields, it has SPF 30 and feels like you aren’t wearing anything. On days when I’m rushing, I’ll only wear this and some mascara. Applying this is super easy, I usually just do it with my fingers or with the brush from Rodan and Fields. Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
Some of the best makeup advice I’ve ever heard for when you want to do a minimalist look is to “frame your face.” This means to do yours brows, mascara, and your lips. It creates an effect of having a full face even if those are the only products you have. And this trick works! I’ve been using this pencil for years and I love how easy it is to shape and fill my brows. I have the Shade 2. You can get it for yourself here!
Benefit High Brow Highlighting Pencil
Another staple that I always have with me! Every time I do makeup, I have to use this because it really defines my brow bone. I love how this product looks on me! I love the High Brow pencil because it comes in two different finishes, one that’s more matte (the one I have!) and there was a glowy one for a dewy look. Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel
This is an absolute must for anyone. It doesn’t even matter if you wear makeup or not because it’s such an essential tool to have. Everyone I know who uses this actually has duplicates laying around (like in their work bag or in their car) so that they can always have it on them. Hourglass Caution™ Extreme Lash Mascara
I used to wear Too Faced’s Better than Sex religiously, but I tried this one on a whim and I have never looked back since. I love the packaging because it’s so original and luxurious. The formula is great, too! I love how it defines my lashes individually without clumping or adding too much formula. I think it’s worth every penny! It is a bit on the pricier side but I highly recommend it. You can find the best mascara ever here!
Using all of these products, I’m ready to go in less than five minutes. It’s such a simple, easy-to-recreate routine that never lets me down.
