Another month of 2019 has come to an end! Compared to 2018, this year has been flying by. I’ve been so busy with school (had midterms at both the beginning and the end of the month) that I haven’t had as much time to find new favorites. Due to this, I’ve relied on things that have been in my life before but had a renewed focus during this month! Here are some of the best things ever that I have found a new love for.
Harry Potter Kindle Books
I’ve been reading more and more again, which I’m so happy about. I realized about halfway through the month that I haven’t read my Harry Potter books in years. Years! But I’ve watched the movies a handful of times over time, so I knew I wanted to change that. I found out that on Kindle Unlimited, I could read the whole series for free with my subscription! That same day, I downloaded The Sorcerer’s Stone and began reading. I’ve loved rereading the series because I’m appreciating Rowling’s writing so much more. She masterfully organizes the series so that the development of characters and plot is natural but riveting. If you have the chance to reread this series, I highly recommend it!
Orange is the New Black
Just days before Netflix released the news of the show being renewed for the seventh and final season, I began watching this Netflix original. When this show first came out, my mother and I binge-watched it and finished it faster than we had expected. Same with the second season and third season. Around the fourth or fifth season, life sped up and we either lost interest or the time to watch it. There are six seasons currently available on the website, and I’m working my way through them! I’m currently on season three, but with spring break next week, I should be able to do some major damage. Note: this show is very vulgar and graphic. Viewer discretion is advised. I really think it’s a great show that shows the real side of people without dehumanizing prisoners. It’s eye-opening.
I feel like I’ve been writing about Trader Joe’s a lot. Probably because it’s one of the best grocery stores ever. I can’t tell you how much food I get from there! All of my produce, salads, and frozen foods tend to come from Trader Joe’s. My personal favorites include the Mushroom Ravioli with Truffle Sauce, Orange Mandarin Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice, and the turkey burgers. I can count on the food from this store to be delicious and healthy. I trust the food from TJs. I know what I’m putting in my mouth. What are your favorites? I just tried the Orange and Cranberry Scones with Almonds and it’s to die for. If you ever want to try something new, I highly recommend Trader Joe’s.
Ulta 21 Days of Beauty
Ulta is one of the best places to get makeup because they have a broad range of products to choose from. Another great part about Ulta is their 21 Days of Beauty! For 21 straight days, they have amazing sales on popular makeup items, up to 50% off. Today, I picked up the Tarte Toasted palette for only $19.50! That’s a downright steal. The 21 Days of Beauty are still going on, you can check it out right here! Look into it and see if there’s anything you want to get your hands on for a good price.
These are the things that I’ve been a big fan of for the month of March! It feels good to indulge in things I had lost interest in for a bit. I like the nostalgia and comfort it brings. This month has had its ups and downs but I am ending it on a high note. I’m in a really good place and I’m happy and excited for the future. Thank you so much for reading!
