Happy April! March was a really good month for me and I’m excited to see where April will take us. This week is my spring break for college and I spent the first few days relaxing and picking up some items that have been catching my eye for a while now! I grabbed three different items and I’ve been a big fan. Here’s what I got and what I thought!
Tarte Tartelette Toasted Palette
Like I had mentioned in my last post, Ulta had their 21 Days of Beauty and I snagged this cute palette for only $19.50! I’ve used it every day since and I’m a big fan of this product. The packaging is to die for and the pigments really pay off. There is a bit of fallout with the shimmer shades (which is to be expected) but I have no complains with the mattes! You can really create a myriad of looks with this warm-toned palette. I think it’s versatile and overall a really good item to have in your vanity! Pictured below is my favorite look I’ve done so far with the palette. Created with four of the different mattes and combined with one shimmer, it’s an easy lok that will always be in season. I suggest picking it up when you have the chance! You can find it here from Sephora and here from Ulta!
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Amplifying Eye Primer
For the longest time, I’ve been using the MAC Painterly Paint Pot. I finished it off and decided not to repurchase it because MAC tests on animals (I won’t ever buy products from them again but plan on finishing products I’ve already bought). I had heard great things about the Fenty Beauty Eye Primer and wanted to try it out so I went to my local Sephora and tried it. Wow, it’s great! With the same Invisipink formula as they use with their Pro Filt’r Primer, it fits in with every skin tone. I love how it holds the formulas and pigments with my favorite eyeshadows. Coming in at $22, it’s a must-have for people who want good color payoff with their shadows! You can find it here from Sephora!
GlamGlow Plumprageous Gloss Lip Treatment
I’ve seen a lot of videos going around with Too Faced’s Lip Injection Extreme lipgloss and how it plumps your lips. I was immediately intrigued because why not? When I went to my Sephora, they were sold out but the kindest employee ever recommended the GlamGlow one. I sampled it and felt the tingling right away. I felt like my lips were definitely plumper and you can’t go wrong with the classic clear lipgloss. The packaging is so unique, too. I wasn’t immediately wowed by this product but it grew on me after a few uses! You can find it from Sephora right here. Below, you can see the before and after!
That’s all the makeup I’ve gotten for this spring! I’m satisfied with all of my purchases and can see myself using all of the items continuously as the season goes on. Have you used any of these products? How did you like them? Let me know down in the comments! And as always, thank you so much for reading!
