This month has been a great one for books! I have found so many different novels that have been intriguing to me and I can’t wait to share them. From romances to dramas to a bit of mystery, there’s a lot to choose from. Here are the books I’ve been into this month!
Big Little Lies
This is the book I’m currently reading at the moment and I love it. It’s beautifully written by Liane Moriarty. The synopsis is as follows: “A murder…a tragic accident…or just some parents behaving badly? What’s indisputable is that someone is dead. But who did what? Big Little Lies follows three women, each at a crossroads: Madeline is a force to be reckoned with. She’s funny and biting, passionate, she remembers everything and forgives no one. Celeste is the kind of beautiful woman who makes the world stop and stare. New to town, single mom Jane is so young that another mother mistakes her for the nanny. Big Little Lies is a brilliant take on ex-husbands and second wives, mothers and daughters, schoolyard scandal, and the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves just to survive.” I highly recommend this book (and it’s an HBO series now as well!) and hope you read it soon!
Something in the Water
This book has been on my to-read list for a long time and I am finally reading it! I’ve been excited about this book and can’t wait to see how it goes. Here’s the summary: “If you could make one simple choice that would change your life forever, would you? Erin is a documentary filmmaker one the brink of a professional breakthrough, Mark a handsome investment banker with big plans. Passionately in love, they embark on a dream honeymoon to the tropical island of Bora Bora, where they enjoy the sun, the sand, and each other. Suddenly the newlyweds must make a dangerous choice: to speak out or protect their secret. Their decision will trigger a devastating chain of events.” This is definitely going to be a crazy book and I can’t wait for it!
Matchmaking for Beginners
“Marnie Macraw wants an ordinary life: a husband, kids, and a minivan in the suburbs. Now that she’s marrying the man of her dreams, she’s sure this is the life she’ll get. Marnie must learn the hard way: love is hard to recognize, and the ones who push love away often are the ones who need it most.” This book has so many great reviews that I can’t wait to read it!
These are all of the books that I’m excited about for this month! July has been such a great month for books and I’m so happy that I found the novels that I did.
