I am a sucker for value and gift sets. When I heard some of my favourite companies are coming out with their Holiday 2020 gift sets, I knew there were some I just had to get my hands on. One of those companies is Drunk Elephant! I’ve been using DE products since the middle of April and have been a big fan of loads of their items. These sets are just as the great as the Littles, but better. Each kit contains a full-sized DE product along with other deluxe samples and a compact mirror for a reasonable price! There are four kits to choose from: Dewy, Firmy, Softy, and Glowy.
Dewy: The Polypeptide Kit
This was the first set that caught my eye. I have been thinking about getting the full sized moisturizer ($68 full retail) for a while now. When I saw this gift set included the full size and four other products and a compact mirror for $75 ($108 value), I was sold. This kit is marketed as the one-stop shop for noursihing skin, reducing fine lines, and leaving the skin “soft and glowing.” This is the least expensive of the kits and a great starter for trying some of Drunk Elephant’s most highly-rated products.

My personal thoughts: I love all the items in this kit! I think this would be the best kit for beginners because it’s a good starter pack for those just starting out with Drunk Elephant. The packaging for the kit is so cute, and everything is recylable! I think this kit is well worth the price because the full-size moisturiser is worth $68 on its own. Firmy: The Day Kit
This is the kit to start off your day right! Everything included in this box helps firm up your skin and prepare it for the day ahead. Some of my personal favourite DE products are in this set: the Polypeptide Cream and the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops. While I am not the biggest fan of the C-Firma serum, it’s a good value for the kit! Coming in at $88, this kit is in the middle of the pricing for the gift sets. The value of this box is $127.

My personal thoughts: this looks like a great kit, but I had gotten the full size of the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops (which had been the biggest draw for me within the kit) and the Dewy set came with a full-sized moisturiser. I wasn’t as interested in the other products either because I tried them and didn’t like them, or I already have samples of it. Objectively, this is a good kit. Softy: The Baby Kit
This is the new gift set they just added to their holiday collection! Unlike the other kits, this only contains four products and a compact mirror (every other one has five). This set is made for freshening up the skin routine and having that baby soft glow! I think this is a great gift set for any beginner to the Drunk Elephant product line. It retails for $88 and the full value is $144.

My personal thoughts: I was surprised that they came out with another holiday set (this was announced about a week after the first three). Half of the products in the kit are in other kits (specifically: the Glowy kit) and the price is reasonable for everything within the kit. I honestly think that Drunk Elephant tacked seven or eight dollars on top of the original price of the full-sized product in the kit. But this kit is great for beginners because I have all of these products and they work wonders. I think everyone should try it! You can find the Softy kit right here.
Glowy: The Night Kit
This is my favourite kit of the entire holiday collection. I know I’m going to like all of the products in this box and I’m really excited about the full sized T.L.C. Glycolic Night Serum. While this is the priciest of the four ($98, but $146 full value), I think this might be the one to snag for yourself when buying gifts this year. You get so much! All of these products will last you for a while.

My personal thoughts: This set has so many products! And it’s a good value with all of the items having enough to last a long time. The compact mirror in this kit is my favourite out of the three because it’s my absolute favourite colour. While this is the most expensive kit, I think it’s the best value. The full price is $98, while the full-sized product within it comes in at $90. For $8, you get four deluxe samples and a compact mirror, which is a deal! You can find the Glowy kit right here!
Overall, all three sets are wonderful in value. Each set contains one full-sized product and the price range for the entire kit is somewhat comparable to the full product (i.e., Glowy’s full-sized product is the T.L.C. Glycolic Night Serum, which costs $90 for just the one product, but the entire kit sells for $98). If you’re interested in trying some of Drunk Elephant’s best products, I would suggest buying one (or all four, do what makes you happy) kit to try it out for a great value!
