Just like that, 2021 is over. It’s been quite the year–I moved to a new state, started a new job, started new hobbies and worked on my manuscript, and so much more. This year has been challenging and inspiring and more than I ever expected. I am excited about the new year and all of the opportunities that lie ahead. Here are my resolutions for 2022!
Get More Sleep
This was actually my biggest resolution from 2021. I wanted to get eight hours of sleep a night, if possible. I would say that I did a pretty good job of achieving this goal (I track my sleep in one of my planners, I did pretty well!) and I’m looking forward to keeping up at this goal in the new year.
Be More Organised
I’m a very organised person. I have two planners (one physical and one digital) and I track the books I read in four different ways. I have a set routine that I follow to the letter and I like knowing where things are. That being said, I want to be more organised. I want to have everything in order, no matter what might disrupt my schedule (appointments being moved or cancelled, etc). In the new year, I want to be more organised and have everything in a row!
Save Money
I want to put aside a portion of my pay check every two weeks into savings. It’s good to have a rainy day fund or save up for my first house or something else equally important. It’s a simple goal, but a good one.
Lose Weight
Any ex-collegiate athlete can tell you how life is different after playing a sport full-time and then retiring. I’m still working out four times a week, but it’s not the same. I intend to lose weight and eat healthy in the new year.
Smile More
I have a lot to smile about. I have a great life and I fully intend on enjoying the hell out of it. I’m going to smile more in 2022.
These are my goals for 2022! It’s more than I had going into 2021, but I’m happy with them. Each of them are important to me and I can’t wait to tackle them in the new year. I’m super excited about the new year and I can’t wait to see what opportunities are waiting for me! Thank you so much for reading and Happy New Year!
Love,
Kaitlin
