Working in an office has many blessings. It’s always good temperature, you don’t have to worry about weather, and there’s almost always a kitchen area. Since I’ve been working in an office all summer, I know just how important having food and snacks in the office can be.
The best snack, in my opinion, is frozen grapes. They always have a great taste when you bite into them and they’re easy to store within a Ziploc bag in the freezer. Super easy and almost no work is required!
My favorite lunch for when I’m at the office is a Trader Joe’s Arugula salad because it comes in a container with the dressing included. Super easy to transport and store in the office refrigerator.
Another easy snack to prepare and store while at work is cut-up strawberries with sugar drizzled over them. Not only is it healthy, but it is sweet enough to fight any craving you might find while sitting at your desk.
For the smaller cravings, like for candy or gum, I would suggest buying a small bag of caramels or mints (individually wrapped) and keep them in your office or your desk. It will make it easy for those small cravings, but there won’t be that many within the desk because it was a small bag! An easy hack to kind of trick yourself into being full.
