Summer Makeup Edit!

Summer is quickly approaching and everyone is scrambling to update their vanities to have all of the essentials. I’ve done some research and found the makeup products that I want to have with me for summer! While some of the products are newer, there are some staples that have been current in the beauty community for as long as I can remember. Here is my official Summer Makeup Edit!

Fenty Beauty

This makeup company has been a favorite of mine ever since the launch of the brand! They have so many products that have an amazing range that works for so many different people; it’s fantastic. Fenty Beauty released their summer collection and I have my eye on a few products!

Pro Kiss’r Luscious Lip Balm, $18

“A creamy moisture-lock lip balm with a plush, doe-foot applicator that smooths, softens, and preps for luscious, kiss-worthy lips that last.” Summer is a time for being natural and highlighting the natural beauty of everyone. I’m looking forward to using this product when I’m at the beach or on the run completing errands. You can pick this product up from Sephora!

Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick, $16

“A lip scrub in a twist-up stick, packed with apricot-seed scrubbers to gently exfoliate and nurture for smooth, soft, kissable lips with every swipe.” I am a huge fan of exfoliators, and this product is perfect for summer! Everyone always has chapped lips during the summer months, but you can fix that with this product. You can find it at Sephora!

Body Lava Body Luminzer, $59

“A shimmering body liquid to veil skin in a high-shine finish that feels as dewy as it looks-now in a new shade, plus the two original, bestselling shades.” I have heard so many great things about this! The price is a bit steep (and there are tons of dupes available out there) but the product pay-off is to die for. Would you buy it? You can find it at Sephora!

Marc Jacobs Beauty

This brand has been a staple for so long! I’ve been eyeing this brand for a while and I am glad that I have. There are so many products that are perfect for the summer season. Here are some of the must haves!

Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, $26

“An ultra-volumizing mascara that delivers instant dimension for epic lashes.” I’ve been loving my Hourglass mascara, but I have heard so many great things about this product (not to mention that it’s cheaper!) that I’m convinced I need to try it. You can find it from Sephora.com and in store!

Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer, $45

“A skin-smoothing, makeup-extending primer infused with five types of coconut to nourish and hydrate the complexion.” I got a sample of this product a little bit ago and it changed my world. What an amazing primer! It’s so hydrating and goes onto the skin like a dream. Even on days that I don’t wear makeup, this product is surely being used.

Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter, $45

“A lightweight, coconut-infused gel highlighter that can be applied to skin directly or added into foundation or primer for a universally flattering glow.” For a natural glow, this is the product for you! Gently apply it over makeup or on a bare face for a gorgeous look. Find it at your local Sephora!

Glossier

This brand is definitely up and coming, just in time for summer! With a huge emphasis on natural products and putting your best face forward, I am definitely interested in this company. They have a great range of products, from makeup to skincare to body and fragrance. Check out some of their products below!

Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, $22

“Think of this as a juice cleanse for your face. Made with simple ingredients, the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack balanced and conditions pores while helping calm the skin.” Detoxifying the skin is amazing for this time of year, and this is the product to do it! This mask also received a 2015 Self Beauty Award and is perfect for balancing, purifying, nourishing, and refining. Available at glossier.com!
