One of my favorite things about summer is how much time I can dedicate to my hobbies, like reading! I’ve been checking out some new titles this month and I’ve been loving them so far. With a mix of action/mystery with some romance, I have almost all of my bases covered. Here are some of the books I’ve been reading!
The Girl Who Played with Fire
The sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (originally published as Men Who Hate Women) is just as thrilling and intriguing as the first book had been. After the riveting mystery of Harriet Vanger, the reader gets to know the backstory of Lisbeth Salander and see what truly makes her tick. I’ve about sixty percent done with the book at this time, and I have no idea how this book is going to end (which is one of my favorite things about books). Blomkvist and Salander have to work together to prove her innocence when there is a triple murder. You can find this book on Amazon or wherever books are sold!
The Help
This is one of the best books I have ever read. I have read this book over and over the past couple years. I don’t even know how many times I’ve read it, but I still love this book with all my heart. It’s such an amazing story with diverse characters and viewpoints.
The Break-Up Bet
This is one of the best romance books I’ve read this year! It’s super funny with an original plot with great characters. This book is available through Kindle Unlimited, which is part of the reason I chose it originally (and then it ended up being one of the best romances I’ve read in a while). I highly recommend it for those who want a quick afternoon read!
