My March Favourites!

I feel like this is the best month of 2021 so far. So many new items and books to try and love came out this month. The most notable books that have come out include Namesake by Adrienne Young, Covet by Tracy Wolff and Rules of Wolves by Leigh Bardugo. I also found some new things to enjoy this month. Without further ado, here are my favourite things from March 2021!

The Crave Series by Tracy Wolff

Covet came out early this month and I’m currently reading it. I’m loving every single second of it and rereading Crave and Crush in anticipation of the release of the third book was a lot of fun. Tracy Wolff has such a unique way of writing that it’s always keeping me on the edge of my seat. There’s always a lot of plot twists in her writing and I can’t wait to see where Covet takes me!

Copic Markers

While my last post was about Prismacolor (and the paragraph under this one, actually), I’ve kind of branched out and found another art brand that’s absolutely amazing! Copic Sketch markers are my new obsession in the art world and they’re great. While they’re a bit on the more expensive side (around $8 a marker MSRP), you can find them for a great deal on Amazon. I found this pack of six markers for $23 (compared to $27.99 at Michael’s). I recommend them to all artists who want high quality pigmented markers!

Prismacolor Premier

Prismacolor colored pencils are amazing and I’ve so happy to have increased my collection this month! I was able to get more water colored pencils and more sets (including the highlighting set and the floral set, which I’ve very excited about). My bullet journal, book journal, and now my sketchbook (getting delivered today!) will have increased color schemes and increased quality of art! I’m very very happy that I got back into art this month and plan to be into it for a long time to come.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

This 90’s show just might be my favourite show…which is saying a lot considering I’ve watched Friends all the way through at least twice. This iconic show has everything: humour, witches, talking cats, high school drama dynamics, and talking cats. Yes, I said it twice because Salem is the best damn character on the show. I want to adopt a black cat and name him Salem. The humour of this show has stood the test of time–everything they say is still funny today. I highly recommend this show, it’s available on iTunes and Hulu!

These are my favourite things from the month of March! I’ve felt really lucky and grateful recently. I’m thankful for so many things in my life and I’m happy to have the opportunity to discover new things and find joy in art with different materials. Do you like art? Have any recommendations? Let me know down in the comments! And, as always, thank you so much for reading!

Love,

Kaitlin
