Wow, I can’t believe it’s already the end of May. This month was the fastest of the year, I think. I was able to try so many new things! New shows, new books, and new headphones–I’m a lucky gal. I’m so grateful that I’m able to try and see new things to see if I’m a fan of it. Without further ado, here are my favourite things for the month of May!
Beats Solo 3
I was in the market for some over-ear headphones and wanted to try something new. I actually went for the Apple AirPod Maxes, and tried them for a day. With their price tag, I was expecting a high value. I was a bit disappointed and ended up returning them. In lieu of that option, I went for the cutest headphones I could find—the Beats Wireless Solo 3 in Rose Gold. I have to tell you, I am obsessed! They’re so comfortable, the battery life is forty hours, and they’re absolutely adorable. I’m a huge fan of the audio quality and highly recommend them!
Sons of Anarchy
I just finished watching Game of Thrones with my family and we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to finish another series together. We decided on Sons of Anarchy, a show my parents had watched several years ago. We’re currently on season three and loving it! It’s such a unique plot line and I can’t wait to see where it goes!
A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St Clair
I’m pretty sure I’ve written about A Touch of Darkness before on my blog. It’s a modern Hades and Persephone retelling that I am loving at the moment. I’m on the third book in the series that just came out on Tuesday! I’m only a few chapters in and I’m hooked! It’s available on Kindle Unlimited and online wherever books are sold.
Gilmore Girls
I don’t know what’s more surprising—that fact that I haven’t watched this show before or how much I’m adoring it! This show is so soothing and funny yet complicated with dynamic relationships that I am invested in. It’s available on Netflix, and the spin-off type series A Year in the Life, is also available! Don’t quote me on this, but I heard that AYITL is getting a second season soon.
I’m so happy with my favourites for the month of May! A Touch of Darkness is such a great series and the same goes to Gilmore Girls and Sons of Anarchy. We’re so lucky to be able to enjoy such a variety of media with different plot lines and ideas. I hope that you enjoyed this post!
