November is one of my favourite months of the entire year. It has Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, my birthday, and loads of other fun times. It’s also NaNoWriMo, which I previously blogged about. All in all, I’ve had a very busy month. I’ve been writing nonstop, working full-time, spending time with my friends, and spending holidays with my family. I’m feeling very grateful and lucky to live the life I lead. Here are some of my favourites from the month of November!
MAC Cosmetics & Anastasia Beverly Hills
The Sephora sale was earlier this month, and I managed to snag some amazing makeup. I got a lot of items from Anastasia Beverly Hills, one of my long-time favourite cosmetic brands. I’m a huge fan of their cream bronzer and their cream blush, which I have linked. I also got the new Primrose palette (I haven’t opened it yet, I’m planning on gifting it to myself for Christmas! For MAC Cosmetics, I got some new lipsticks. I’m a huge fan of their lipsticks and their formulas, and have been using them for years. I highly recommend them (and please note that they are anti-animal cruelty and do not test on animals!).
Docuseries
I love having things running in the background when I’m doing things. When I’m writing, I like having Spotify or music playing in the background. When I’m emailing or cooking/cleaning or anything like that, I like having TV shows going. This month, I’ve been having docuseries and documentaries running in the background. I watched Disney+’s docuseries about how they made Frozen II, which was super interesting. It went into all the details of how the animation and voice actors recordings took place. I also watched McMillions on HBO Max, which was about the McDonald’s Monopoly scam in 2001. The other documentary I watched was At the Heart of Golf: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal. It’s a harrowing documentary, but I watched to know more about what had happened. Please check trigger warnings before watching.
Scrivener
As I previously blogged about, I have been participating in NaNoWriMo 2021. The entire month that I’ve been writing, I’ve been using the platform Scrivener! Scrivener is an amazing writing application that I’ve written about before. It’s $49.99 for the full desktop version, and totally worth it in my opinion.
Spotify
I have been using Spotify all month for writing and for when I’m driving around taking care of errands! My Spotify Wrapped should be coming out soon (at the end of each year, Spotify makes a collage of all the music I listened to, how many hours I listened to, and more!) and I’m excited to see what I was listening to this year! I think this will be the highest amount of time spent listening in a year to date. I highly recommend Spotify!
These are all of my favourites for the month of November! This has been a super exciting month for a lot of different reasons, and I can’t wait to see what December has to bring. I have a lot of fun content planned for the last month of the year and I’m looking forward to sharing it. And, as always, thank you so much for reading!
Love,
Kaitlin
