I can’t believe it’s already the end of January! This month has absolutely flown by. I’m excited about what is to come in 2022. January was a good month for me for a lot of reasons. I finished my manuscript, tried loads of new things that I liked, and got to read some amazing books. Without further ado, here are my favorites for the month of January!
I’m a huge coffee fan–more so in recent months than I have been in the past. I’ve been a fan of Emma Chamberlain for a few years (occasionally watching her videos and collabs). When I heard she revamped her coffee company, I decided to check it out. I’m a huge fan and have made two large orders. I’ll be blogging about it in the coming weeks with all of the details!
I’ve blogged about Scrivener in the past and I’m blogging about it again. This writing program is amazing. Life-changing. Incredible. All of the positive adjectives. This program has made it so easy to stay organized and keep everything in order. I just finished my manuscript (and I’m currently editing it) and Scrivener has made it so simple. I love it and I swear by it.
This show is super popular and I am just now trying it out. I never tried to watch it earlier, but now I’ve watched the first two episodes of the first season. I am so impressed with the acting, the writing, the editing, and the music. It is quite well done and I can see why it’s so popular. I’m excited to keep watching.
The Prison Healer + The Gilded Cage
I’ve only read four books so far this month, and these two were my favorites of the bunch. Lynette Noni is a talented writer. The Prison Healer is a fantasy series with great world-building, warring kingdoms, and more. I’ve enjoyed the books and the cliff-hangers and plot twists have been incredible. I highly recommend these books and the third book will be coming out later this year!
I love having things on in the background. Music, Youtube, shows, movies, you name it. My brain works best when there’s a lot going on. This month, I’ve had my Spotify playing almost constantly. I’ve had loads of playlists going whilst reading, and found that there are playlists made for each of the books I was reading. I’m a huge fan of Spotify!
These are all of my favorites for the month of January! I’ve been very fortunate to enjoy a bunch of new things and some old favorites as well. If you have any recommendations, please let me know down in the comments. And, as always, thank you so much for reading!
